Kickback is a Single-Player FPS that was made for the GMTK 2020 Game Jam with one of my fellow Designers over about 36 hours. The theme for the game jam was "Out of Control".

My Contributions: Level Design, Art Assets, Concept and Design.

Kickback was made for the GMTK 2020 Game Jam in roughly 36 hours by myself and one of my Designer colleagues from AIE, Baz Lever.

For this project, I was responsible for designing the concept of the game, and then producing the art assets. All of the art in the game was created by me, and the programming was handled by Baz. We each created one half of the levels used in the game.

For the Game Jam's Prompt "Out of Control" we decided to take away the Player's traditional FPS controls and instead only allow them to move using the blowback from their weapons. The Player has 3 weapons that each provide different levels of fire rate and blowback.

Overall the project was fairly well received on it's page and overall we're both very happy with how it turned out.
